Blessing Of The Bay - Exhibition with Engage Art Studios
Galway City Museum in conjunction with Engage Art Studios invites you to a group exhibition, ‘The Blessing of the Bay’. Using the annual blessing of Galway Bay as inspiration, members have created original artworks, in varying mediums, based on this tradition of ceremony, celebration, ritual and community.
The exhibition will be launched by the City Mayor Tom Costello at 3.30pm on Sunday 19th August 2007 at the City Museum with guest speaker Micheal Lynsky King of the Claddagh. The exhibition runs until September 1st.
